At least the work situation seems to be heading slowly towards something useful.
Or at least less cripplingly counter-productive to my sanity.

It has been a very, very busy day. Week. Month. Year? I'm being eaten by my own life. Mainly in a very enjoyable and entertaining way, but still. The filing is building right up, and I'm not sure where the summer went.

My team is in the middle of switching managers. The handover consists mostly of bickering madly and poking each other.
I spent the last hour of the day sitting in front of them with them trying to make me take sides.

It's like being the lone child in a really twisted divorce.

So far it seems terribly Monday-ish.

I have so far:

• Failed at sleep from about 5am.
• Even so, was so late up that breakfast went by the wayside.
• Forgot file (the one with entire academic life inside) and had to go back.
• By which point had to get a taxi down to uni.
