(no subject)
I am in the DR and loving it. The family that I am staying with is awesome. The mom is a divorced big time lawyer. The daughter attends the International School (where I will be teaching). I don´t start at school until Monday so I am free to explore. Went to Zona Colonia yesterday and met many people including 3 nice young gentlemen who would like to take my friend Kathleen and I dancing. We may take them up on it. Went to many neat shops and people here love americans. The kids just flock to us and want to be around us. Everyone is so much more friendlier then the US. My house is amazing. We have a guard, doorman, and maid. The maid does everything. It will take some getting use to but when I get back it will take some getting use to not having one. Power goes out a lot around here, kinda weird but not bad.
I love the it here the people are amazing. I have only been here 2 full days and already I can tell it will be hard when it comes time to leave.
