Didn't have to go out in the rain (oh look, it's just turned into wet snow... ew) this morning to drive Deb because we couldn't think of any reason I might need the car today, so she took it. Which makes the end of the day nicer too, because I won't have to leave in the middle of anything to go and pick her up, she'll just come home, yay. Not gonna lie, I was planning to go back to bed for a bit after she left but I'm up now, so maybe I'll just have another mug of soup and find something to read for awhile instead. I'm all about rereading at the moment, have been for the past several months I guess. I spent the summer with Anne and then I revisited a few stand-alone favourites... now I seem to be on a Swallows and Amazons kick, including some of the ones I've never read before (not all rereading, then). I'd probably go and spend the rest of the morning with a book in the bath, if it weren't for the fact that my copy of Coot Club is quite literally falling to pieces...

Anyway. List:
- have a bath
- clean the kitchen again!
- load of laundry?
- sort stuff from front hall
- figure out dinner
- work out grocery list for Saturday cook-off
- who is in charge of Archives? find out
- tidy living room & dining room
- call Kate
