Comment on this post saying you want to do the meme. I will respond with five things I associate with you. They might make sense or they might be random. Then post that list, with your commentary, to your LJ (or, if you prefer, you can answer in a comment here).

1) Urban fantasy? You mean like Holly Black? I know she's a YA writer, but I've read three of her books--Tithe, Valiant, and another one (Honor, I want to say?)--and they were pretty good.

2) He's so cute. The photos I posted were taken in the first couple weeks after we got him--back in June. Since it's now October, yeah, he's gotten bigger. XD But not by much. He's full-size by now, and I can't get over the fact that he's going to be able to fit on my lap forever. I woke up this morning with him snuggled to my side, just like nearly every morning for the past week.

5) I like A:tLA, but...they could've done a few things differently. Blech.

Yeah, I'm sick. I went to the doctor on Tuesday, and with my cough and, I'm guessing, the rattling in my chest, he said it sounded like borderline croupe. When I asked what that was, he said it was along the same lines as whooping cough. And then he told me I had a nasty ear infection. I got three prescriptions and have been off work since. I'm going in tonight, though, just for a few hours.

How've you been? (And sorry it's taken so long for me to reply. I've been sleeping and being lazy and whatnot a lot lately.)

1) I only read Holly Black's Valiant, but yeah - she's got the urban fantasy style. Game of Thrones is also urban fantasy. :D

2) Aww. That is so sweet. ♥

5) Too true. :(

Did you go to work? Aww, sorry to hear about the sickness, Mary - that sounds pretty bad, combined. D: I really do hope you get better soon. *hugs* ♥

(Totally understandable! REST MORE) I'm okay. Resigning from my job, but before that, I need to find a new job first. XD

Guh. I've been wanting to read Game of Thrones for ages nowwwww~. But the library doesn't have it, and my other usual alternative--buying--is out of the question at the moment.

2) Except when he decides to wake me up by sticking his tongue up my nose. It's happened. Multiple times. XD

I went to work. I've been working every night since. I get a little dizzy sweeping and mopping, and I'm a bit short of breath, but the doctor gave me an inhaler, so I do alright.

(I do rest. Just...my life is cah-razy all the time.) Yes, I saw that. I nearly felt a blood vessel pop in my brain when I read the post about Jelai (did I spell her name right?) and your conversation with your manager. Best of luck with the job hunt, dear!

You don't want e-book?

2) Aww. HE ADORES YOU. :D

Arghhh. You get short of breath? That sounds bad. D: Nothing worse than that, though...right?

REST MORE. Just...and eat lots and lots of fruits? I heard that helps.

Yup! You spelled her name (well, nickname, really - her real name is Jelyn) right. Aaah, still job hunting. No luck so far, but I'm not giving up. Thanks! :D

I don't have an e-reader, and I don't want one. I like paper books. Nothing against them, but if I'm going to be buying a book, I want it to be tangible, something with weight that I can feel and look at--not just pixels on a screen.

I know he adores me. I adore him, I just wanted to sleep.

I AM RESTING. XP Thanks. I'm being good. Err, nothing more serious than dizzy spells and a hard time breathing--but the doctor prescribed me an inhaler for that.

That's a lovely name. :D

Aww. I used to buy paper books a LOT (I have mountains of them at home and in the boarding house), but now I'm saving up. So I just read e-books in my laptop. XD

Aww. ♥

Aah, glad you have an inhaler. Is your sickness still steadily...being bad, or is it getting better?

It is! But she likes being called Jelai because it's a fun name, and she's a goofy/funny type of person.
