Open letter to all Twilight fans.

Dear Twilighters, Fanpires, Death to Twilighters, and any other person who happens to read this post,

Alright so I haven't really been part of the Twilight fanworld for a few months now, thanks to a little thing called Escuela. And as I've been reading through you guys' posts, I've seen a division in general opinion

To be honest, I joined ontd_twilight, and that was just a crack-tastic fest. There were some very amusing times, and the mockery of the books went through the roof, but people really took the hating far. They practically started a war. (unsurprisingly, the group no longer exists.:P)

And to be honest, I don't really think anyone on my flist gave up on someone over Twilight, but you never know! I actually went to a Twilight party hosted by the "Be safe" friend of a friend, and it was fun! Except the farthest I went in my obsession was to make a t-shirt for the release. Partly because I wasn't about to pay 20$ for a t-shirt to fuel the money making machine they were milking, and partly because, well, I wanted a T-shirt. I don't have the time or energy to organize a full on party, complete with movie trivia and twilight-themed food.

And I have a few choice friends who don't believe in the going to a movie they don't want to see but will go anyways to not ditch you thing. But they expect you to entertain their fancies, even if you don't want to.

And honestly, at least you read the book, and you're basing your opinion on what you know, and not what everyone else is saying. And I totally respect that! Listen, the point of the post is basically that life doesn't revolve around twilight. And people just don't get it!
