I am considering training for another half marathon. When I was getting ready to do the one in Myrtle Beach with Ann, I stuck to my training like a woman obsessed. Mostly because I didn't want to endure the embarrassment of being pick up by the sag wagon. Lately, I'm finding it harder and harder to make me get out to get my heart rate up. And with my family history that really is a Bad Thing (tm).
Ann's doing the Goofy (again) in January and might be interested in joining me for a half when she has gotten over it. Or, maybe someone else will speak up to join me for a friendly competition, either with the 2 of us or for an additional event.
I haven't picked one yet, kind of waiting to see what kind of feed back I get.
Chuck has suggested that it doesn't have to be a half, could be a 10K. And that is true. I would do a 5K if someone wanted company.
I still want to aim for a half, though. And I walk. I'm not a runner yet. That may come, but not today.
