Irises
Ann gave me some irises when they sold their house in Durham. She didn't know what colors they were so I kind of scattered them around. I got some from a friend of William's when we were on the Great Road Trip. Kristal, a coworker gave me some, too. Between them I have large, single blossoms dark purple on the front corner of the house by the driveway, large, single blossoms, yellow with a white on the falls on the corner by the den, large, single blossoms with dark purple falls and lavender petals off the deck by the butterfly bush, small, multiflowered lavender near the shepherd's crook in the back and small, single flowering yellow, petals, brown falls with an orange-red beard that I moved from in the trees where it only bloomed once to the fence row on the right side of the yard.
Saturday, Caitlyn and I went to Lowe's and got some more.
To the fence row on the right, I have added Devil's Riot
Clarence
, which is a rebloomer
and Rock Star
which is going to annoy me if it turns out to be purple instead of the dark pink that was on the label.
