We been shoppin'
We thought we weren't going to get to ride the ATT this week because of rain. But, it held off long enough for us to have a very nice ride through Chatham county and into Wake.. It kicked my ass, though, because I've been a slug during the week for at least a month.
When we got through, I was whining about my seat again and we stopped at REI to see it they had the seat I want. they didn't, but we both needed socks, so. Found a couple of pairs of wool socks for Chuck, but nothing I was willing to spend for. But we found a bin of sale socks and looked there. Nothing that was my size was interesting but a sales person pointed to the wall and "There's more over there."
Then we realized there was a sale everywhere.
I did need wool socks and a heavier jacket. (I had a light weight pink hoodie, HEAVY wool casual coat, medium weight, khaki, twill, dress coat and a denim jacket that is a shit weight for almost anything. I don't know why I wanted one 20 years ago. Also, a light weight, Irish wool cape which is fine when the dress coat is too heavy but not good for anything else.)
Now I have a nifty black polartec jacket with lots of pockets. And 2 pairs of wool socks. And a very cute pair of Keen slip-ons. And a long sleeved t-shirt. I trashed a pink shirt on the Creeper last weekend and it's been replaced by teal.
Then, we went to Whole Foods and got granola makin's and treat for the holiday week.
There is CHOCOLATE!!!!! and caramels. :-D
