Having ignored the piano in the 'piano room' as we call it - I felt bad and opened it again.  (We had taken it all part to clean it three/four weeks ago and I neglected to re-install my music/books/etc.)  Everything I learned from my 'works in progress' pieces is in shambles - which makes sense, since I haven't been practicing, heh.

Um, yeah.

I mean what I say in  my title.  I've officially trumped Chopin by difficulty and am replacing him with Debussy.  The bastard.  Damn his big hands.  Yes, I just cursed in my lj.

The thing with Chopin, Beethoven and Bach is that even their most popular pieces can be (sort of) simple to play, but Debussy...oh no.  Mr. Big Hands needs to make ( Read more... )
