Just realized there's a Liszt transcription of Beethoven's 7th.
Then again, what hasn't Liszt transcribed for his own piano glory?
I am now resigned to the fact that I have to learn this - it's too wunderbar to pass up. Just the second mvt, mind. No way in hell I could try for the first.
