I'm back, baby!
Dear Blog,
I'm back! It's been more than 10 years, but I'm back! I'm doing this again! Facebook has turned into a cesspool! Twitter is fleeting! So, let's bring back the Livejournal, a bastion of sanity!
Obviously, a lot has happened in the 10 years since I last posted. I've gotten married, had three kids with my wife to add to her son for a family of four.
I rose the the Chair of Visual Arts at MMI, before new corporate overlords made it unsustainable. I left, and the school closed.
I did a couple of years of Fun Factory comics, went back to Freaks N Squeaks, Kickstarted a graphic novel that was finished during the pandemic.
Before, there was a lot of personal details on my entries, but I won't be doing that again.
These days, I work from home doing web and graphic design for a company in Arizona. I'm currently working on a NaNoWriMo, which is a standalone book that is part memoir, part supernatural thriller. I like to think only the scary parts are true.
These days, I really want to get published. This is my driving goal. I think this particular book is my best path forward.
I am still making Freaks N Squeaks. I paused this week to concentrate on this draft of my book, but it keeps coming back, And it keeps changing! Maybe I'll talk about that in a post some time!
Anyway, I'm back! And it's great!
