There are far too many worse places to be stranded than New York City. But why oh why did I have to be so dumb dumb dumb and miss my flight home?

i've slept 3 hours in 44 days, but...at least i'm in brooklyn. or should i say AND i'm in brooklyn? let's just hope the garbage trucks don't get too loud.

Essentially a moot point, but I wanted to write and say I have, as expected, had a killer time in St. Petersburg, torn about leaving, in any case feeling grateful for having had the opportunity to go and experience all that I have. I'm to get up in 5 hours to make my way to the airport. Per a coworker's suggestion, I may spend a chunk of my 8-hour JFK layover in a movie theater 5 miles away. "King Kong" is 3 hours long - W00t.
