there is another sky (but they all can be brooded under)

Rachel Summers is not a lady who lunches. She's not even a lady who does tea. So while Jean, her mother-but-not-quite-mom, is having tea with the bitchiest cow that ever did cow and the clone of her mother-but-quite-mom, Rachel is doing what a Summers does best.

She is brooding. Again.

If you were looking for her, you could find her outside by the pool. It's not warm enough for a swim but it is sunny enough and warm enough to be outside. Rachel is lying on a lounge chair. There are sunglasses on her face but her head is directed up towards the sky.

The Phoenix is gone, at least for now. Rachel is glad that it is freed of Thanos' control. He didn't deserve it and the Phoenix didn't deserve to be shackled in slavery. She's not sure if it will return to Earth. Unlike some, she's not fearful of it. Rachel accepts what the Force is and what it can do. It is what it is.

But where does that leave her?

She has the realization that she will never fit in, that there will never ever be a true spot for her. Before she became sucked into the time stream, it had never really bothered her. Rachel lived for the moment, never minding about the past or what might happen tomorrow.

The memories of her other self are curious about Genosha. Should she go?

Rachel sighs. She's not sure about anything now.
