Cassie gave Nate a look that suggested she was wondering why he didn't just look up said file. "She's- I don't know. She's married to Hank Pym." That had to say something. "And she's really into fashion. Like reeeally." Just like she was really bad at describing her.
"Yeah, I know. But I really don't know any words that really capture just how Jan Jan is. She gave me barbies and barbie dresses and then played dress up with them all day while I tried to sneak off to play with my Star Wars action figures. She's crazy."
"Yes. Which is probably somewhere in the realm of 'a lot'." He stopped walking and wrapped his arms around her. "But the fact that I'm madly in love with you should buy us more leeway with her than either your Dad or Uncle Tony."
"MmmHmm. It does." Yes, they were in public, which meant he had to keep his hands from being too friendly. That was taking a lot of self control right there.
"Or we could luck out, and she could be a hopeless romantic."
He let it pass, though.
"Guess so. Though, since he doesn't own Stark, Inc. anymore, not sure there's much he can do about the mess things are over there."
He shrugged.
"So tell me about Jan."

"Well," he started, between kisses. "Her being a woman might make her immune from that."

"She might have overprotective mom complex."

"So instead of throwing me out a window... she'll be trying to beat me with a frying pan?"

Actually she was wondering why she wasn't doing other things to Nate right now, things like- oh right, they were in public.
