"If his gee-whiz ubertech can't protect him from a pukefist, he's been lying to you all anyway. If you can't go on without him, it ain't a commune, it's a cult. I'm done here. Keep on keepin' on."

As he turns to trudge off through the sewers, a knot begins to tighten in his gut. With every step, it sinks in a little bit deeper that he can never see Theresa Cassidy again.
