It's a small newspaper. At least, it started out small. In recent months, though, it's numbers have come alarmingly close to being even with the Daily Bugle.
Jerrica Jagger, former secretary to J. Jonah Jameson, is insanely pleased by this. She has every right to be. She spends her every day, her every moment, trying to show the world the truth about the superheroes who inhabit the city. Jerrica only prints the truth, because gossip and lies? They only land you in court, and Jerrica is not at all a fan of being dragged to court.
The young woman grinned to herself as she looked over the morning edition of her paper. It was one of the best she'd printed in awhile, all things considered. There was a lot of meat in it. Some juice. Some sweetness. Unlike the Bugle, none of it was vile or venomous or bitter.
Yes. This would definitely boost the readership of her paper.
Pleased, she sat back snuck herself a small glass of scotch.
It was a celebration. Life was great.
