A monk. In Manhattan.
A twelve year old orphan mutant monk. In Manhattan. That may or may not be linked with the Young Avengers.
The hell?Julian was having a hard time trying to wrap his mind around this. And around the fact that he was apparently supposed to find the kid and bring him back to the school. At least, that's what he thought Miss

Her gaze is drawn to the other fighter with the bird's eye view and her ears flatten against her skull in anger...just as the rusty bolts holding the fire escape to the bulding's wall pull loose with a dull, metallic pop. The old structure dips, holding on for a moment longer, then gives up the ghost. With a split-second to react, Catseye leaps for the nearest foothold -- namely Julian -- and holds on with all four limbs and her tail as the fire escape crashes in on itself and plummets toward the alley.

He glares. "The cat is trying to eat my teammate, Ken and Barbie. And I might not like Goldie much, but attacking my teammates just ain't on. So why don'cha shut the hell up and get outta the way?" He starts toward one of the big alley dumpsters, intent on using one as a convenient projectile. Before he succeeds, the groan and wrench of metal is heard and he's caught right beneath the collapse.

Billy floats up opposite Hellion, preparing to try and subdue him before Catseye leaps after him. New tactic, then.
A hand explodes in blue light, and a shield begins forming around Cassie and spreading outwards. The people on the street are pushed away from her, giving her time to recover.

Yup, this would be Patriot undermining a somewhat incapacitated Julian - for his own good.

Always one for a dramatic entrance, the remains of the fire escape exploded upwards and swirled around in a virtual storm, from which Julian floated up from the center of. He lifted Santo along with him, and was cradling Catseye in his arms. He looked at Eli, not even bothering to give him a glare. Instead, he just gave him a dismissive smirk.

Before she could actually put him down, though, somebody's managed to shield her from the other fighters in the alleyway. After another moment, the whole scene errupts into absolute chaos. He thought, for a moment, that Julian and Santo had been buried, "Dammit. No." Ever the triumph, though, his friends were soon subject to the protection on Hellion's TK, and Tag again became concerned with himself.
"Would you put me down!?" He tapped his own shoulder, this time, growing impatient, "Tag!" Just like when his powers manifested, nobody would want to be anywhere near him.

Rockslide reaches a hand over as if to take her off Julian from the back of her furry neck, snarling- "Get the hell off h-"
But a pause and then he blinks.
"Ohh, cool kitty!" He coos and begins petting her on the ears. "Julian, can we take her home with us? She could be our Hellion mascot and she would SO whip Pryde's obnoxious dragon..." He babbles, petting her more enthusiastically.
