Quivering on the Edge
To Kindle or not? Yeah, I've got a library branch within blocks, but that YOU MUST RETURN BY thing makes me nervous. What if I drop the book in a mud puddle? What if I lose it!?!?!?
Paper and hardback book prices are too high. Period. End of story. The best sellers on Kindle are also priced too high. However, there are a bunch of folks with their Kindle editions up for $3.95 ($3.16 with discount). That's more or less reasonable for a book both my hubby and I can read, then re-read later if it's really good.
I'm stepping closer to the edge of technology. Why do I hesitate? $369 is why. C'mon! Amazon, get that price to $199 and you'll sell a lot more of them. S**T! Get is to $99 and you'll own the world.
