Meme drabbles Part 2
Starscream x Mirage - A shoulder to lean on - for
cloud_sama If their comrades knew what they were doing now, they were certain prison or execution would soon follow. The war tore them apart, forced them to break something that had been good for both, that made them happy just to bow down to the ideals of a third party. Sometimes Mirage truly hated Megatron. Had it not been for him and his cause, whatever it was by now, he and his lover would not have parted ways.
His peers had been amused by his decision to romance a scientist, and a rather ambitious one at that. Most claimed Starscream was just humoring him, going out with him, accepting and reciprocating his advances merely to secure more funds for his continuous expeditions and investigations, but Mirage knew better. He was aware Starscream did take advantage of everything he offered him, but the interest of the scientist on him was genuine. Their mutual affection was real.
But Starscream's ambition and Mirage's own passiveness about the on-going conflict finally teared apart what they had worked so hard to cultivate and nurture. But even then, even through the hurt and betrayal, the anger and the despair, there was a mutual understanding. They were both in uncomfortable positions within their factions, not fully convinced of the causes they fought for, and eventually that led them to seek each other, when they had no one else to turn to. As they met in the middle of a devastated battle ground that had once been a city bursting with life, they wrapped their arms around each other, needing not to speak a single word. There was no need as they knew that even though they were in different sides they knew they had each other to lean on. If only for a moment.
Inferno x Red Alert - Sparkling Mischief - for
__wilderness__ Inferno couldn't help the little smirk that took over his facial plates as he watched his bondmate scanning through their rather expansive quarters for a little mischief maker.
"Flare Up," Red Alert bellowed with that very no-nonsense tone of his. "You better come out of hiding in this instant or Primus help me, when I find you, you're going to be grounded until you're old enough to sparkbond!"
Inferno laughed at that but quieted as soon as Red Alert's unamused glare fell upon him. "This is your fault, you know?"
"My fault?" Inferno stuttered and raised his hands in self defense. "How it's my fault she's so good at hidin'?"
"You spoil her and let her get away with everything!" Red Alert huffed and crossed his arms over his chest. "How are we going to discipline our sparkling if you keep giving in to her whenever she looks at you with the turbo puppy optics?"
"Can't help it, she's got your optics!"
Before Red Alert could protest, the giggling of a sparkling caught his attention and his highly refined senses caught the location of his wayward daughter. "Seriously, Inferno, when I agreed to have a sparkling it was under the condition you would be responsible of her discipline as much as I." Red Alert edged casually towards the toy box he had heard Flare Up's giggles coming from. "How can she learn to behave if every time I set a rule for her you disregard my authority by letting her do what I have forbidden to her." As he spoke, the security director dipped a hand into the box and pulled out his and Inferno's four earth-months old sparkling giggling and clicking, happy now that her daddy had caught her.
Inferno shook his head "All right, all right. I promise I'll be more strict wit' her, but she's just a little sparkling right now, you can't be too hard on her. Besides, look at her, she just wants you to play with her, ya rarely take enough time to actually be with Flare Up when yer not tellin' her what she can and what she can't do, ya know?"
"Perhaps you are right." Red Alert sighed and cradled his very happy daughter in his arms. "Maybe her mischievous behavior is a way to try to get my attention, she does seem quite happy that I found her."
"I think she just wanted her daddy to play hide an' seek with her." Inferno grinned as Flare up chirped happily and cuddled up against Red Alert.
"Next time perhaps, she can include her sire in the games." Red Alert smirked mischievously. "I should teach her a few tricks."
Inferno merely groaned, he did not need Red Alert and Flare Up against him. "Yer lucky I love ya."
Red Alert chuckled softly "I know. I love you, too." Flare Up chirped tiredly and yawned, nuzzling Red Alert's chest. "And so does Flare Up."
