Thoughts and emotions mirror each other

Bad thoughts lead to bad feelings, and bad feelings lead to bad thoughts

We find it easier to examine other people’s thoughts than our own precisely because we are less emotionally invested

“I'm not good enough to do my job” is a thinking error because it’s an ‘all or nothing’ situation. Alternative thoughts, there are elements I struggle with and maybe I struggle with more than the average teacher.

In 10 years if I was as bad as I thought, I would have been found out

Where is the context to protect yourself, and your thoughts? It’s always my fault, because I’m not good enough. Don’t blame yourself for not achieving the impossible

Can’t change how you feel, but you can change what you tell yourself

Hardest to unpick things when very emotional, maybe leave it a while
