a salute to morigirl

Today I took my mom out for a movie and tea, so I decided to cobble together a morigirl outfit.

face!

waist detail shot... I pinned a hair accessory to my leather belt and voila

serious outfit shot (as serious as it can be when taken in my bathroom)

I'm going to say my hand looks that big due to perspective, but it does look cool-- like a cartoon hand.

jsk: metamorphose
shawl, belt, and cardigan: target
fur: vintage
rose accessory: handmade
beret: gift from Petrina (thank you! ♥)

It's so comfortable and flowy-- I don't know why I don't dress this way all the time. I've started adapting my work outfits to reflect the style in small ways, so eventually I'll be able to walk in like this and no one will ask any questions. haha
::sigh:: I'm aware of how contradictory it is to love fashion and detest scrutiny. e_e

I put my hair up in a side bun so I could showcase the lovely beret Petrina made me for my birthday. It fits perfectly. ;o;

I recently won an auction for another older Metamorphose jsk, but I can't find stock photos of it so here's the auction photo:

pintucks and covered buttons, two of my favorite things ♥

I also bought a Meta rose basket bag:

along with some Modcloth boots:

EDIT: I ordered these, but when I contacted Modcloth to ask if they had shipped yet, they said the boots are actually sold out in my size. This is the second time I've been told an item is sold out AFTER I order. Geez.

and can someone please get me this Triple Fortune headdress?

coordinates, morigirl
