Stephanie recently came for a visit so we could go to the beach and go antiquing ♥ We drove to Long Beach Island and had the perfect day! We swam out beyond the waves ~ (ﾉ◕ヮ◕)ﾉ*:･ﾟ✧
The next day we went back to my favorite antiques store in Mullica Hill, NJ-- Old Mill Antiques. I found a few nice things (clockwise from top left): tin can chaise lounge, folding religious icon, vintage silk tie, miniature doll house bureau, and what I can only assume is a vintage hand cream dispenser ~
The tin can sculpture is particularly interesting! Apparently, fashioning miniature furniture was a popular handicraft back in the day. I'll probably use it for a Moss Märchen jewelry display XD
When we got back to my house, we had a little afternoon tea of sandwiches (chicken salad, smoked salmon, and mini quiches) and desserts (blueberries, Crumbs mini cupcakes, and homemade applesauce raisin cake):
