Just got back from another weekend in New York at the
19th Century Extravaganza! I wore a reproduction of an 1830s gown I commissioned on Etsy and a bonnet I decorated, so I'll post photos of them in the next entry. I only wish I had taken photos at the Extravaganza itself, but whenever I wasn't too busy to snap a picture, I was too lazy to drag out my camera. >n<;;
I also bought a few more things online... a little ring shaped like a cottage:
And some Irregular Choice shoes ~
I watched this pair for months and months but didn't buy them because I didn't want to spend $200, so instead I waited and got them on clearance for $40. ::dances::
The furry areas were a surprise to me! I thought the circular black parts would be some kind of reptile texture, but they turned out to be a sort of embossed fur texture. And I love the gray fuzzy areas with flecks of pink.
These shoes have the infamous Irregular Choice printed sole:
I even liked the shoebox. It looked like a gift bag, but opened like a little drawer...
Just counting the days until I can see The Avengers ;o;
