"We went to public school"*
What a nice ending to my stressful first day at work.
Elizabeth, Jack, Doug, Andy, James and I kicked ass at trivia tonight. It started out just Elizabeth and I but as the night went on we continually collected more and more people. We were only doing so-so but we bet it all at the end and tied for first. We had the option of splitting the pot or going head to head. We wanted to go head to head and were all worked up but the other team came and found are table and submitted a plea for splitting the pot. We didnt want to be assholes so we agreed.
My strategy with triva has always been to get all my friends to come and hope they dont notice that they are doing all the work. I have really smart friends....its a very effective stratagy. In my defense i did kick ass tonight with a couple of questions.
So next week, same team (minus Doug) will be back in action at the Inman Park Johnny's Pizza kicking ass just like the old days.
*our team name is really the best thing ever. If we lose its like "what do you expect, we went to public school" and if we went to school its like "haha fuck yall, we went to public school and we still kick your ass". Hee hee
