When I got up this morning and went into the livingroom, there were small black things scattered all over the carpet and the kitchen floor.  I had no idea what that could be, except maybe one ofthe cats had shredded something dark

I've been dealing with cat prey since I was about 5 or 6, so it's nothing I haven't seen before. Probably the worse I had to deal with was when Charlie would bring gophers into my bedroom at 3 AM and eat them.

All pets have their gross qualities, however. Cats bring in prey, dogs smell and eat and roll in noxious things. It's just something pet owners deal with.
