tough weekend
i'll be terse since it is tough to type. Car accident; I have no memory from before leaving home. Evidently I called John after the accident so he followed to he hospital. Since I was a bit addled, they sent up to town to Memorial Hermann up near Rice.
Very busy day at the trauma center; had to wait several hours for the orthopedicist. Broken collar bone and fractured scapula. No surgery, gave me some dilaudid and then put the collar bone back in place. have a sling to hold the left shoulder. actually slept ok but not great.
Took it mostly easy today; we did go retrieve the car.
Our current thought is to sell the car for parts and replace it since it has going on 90K miles. We'll see. Still need to get the report from police and find out what actually happened.
