Firstly I must send out a GIANT THANK-YOU to all of the lovely friends [both old and new] that put up my sloppy-minded self for the Thanksgiving weekend. You are all an inspiration to endurance and debauchery and I look forward to making many more fuzzy memories with you in the future.
As its been quite a while since I have last posted I should point out that I have left Oz and have found myself in Beautiful [and very humid] Charleston SC! I find my self sought after for my accent [I don't have an accent... THEY have an accent] and talking at great speeds as seems to be the local custom. The days are lovely and sunny and moist and I spend a good deal of time just lazing about in the shade which I am told is also very traditional. There's a gator in the back yard [GO DOG GO!] and a very visible lack of sidewalks to walk on. It turns out sidewalks are for the very poor who cannot afford cars [such as myself] and here catering to the poor is just not PC. People will drive their suburbans 30 feet rather than walk, 'tis quite mind boggling.
