I'm really hating my Travel Narrative class. My teacher's a total snob. Her last name's Arante. Don't take her.
An example. I went up to her at the end of class last week with two books in hand: Hunter S. Thompson's Hell's Angels (my first choice) and some dude's Aguirre narrative. I wanted to review one of them and she wanted to approve all the books for this purpose. So I explained my position and flashed the books. She took one look at the Thompson book and said, "Oh, I hate Hunter Thompson." What could I do?, I rolled my eyes, first instinct. Then I asked if I should just read the Aguirre narrative. She said, "No, read and review the Thompson book. The class will find it interesting." I had had enough so I nodded in agreement and took off.
Saw a good NBA basketball game tonight and I want to play basketball again. Tomorrow I'm going to spend half an hour at the church parking lot court. No one come around. I'm very self-conscious when I'm shooting hoops by myself. Don't look at me.
Where did you buy your computer? I'm thinking of buying a Dell but their promotion this week isn't as good as last week's. Who else is good? Gateway? I'm looking to spend no more than $800 on a PC.
