Well I just bought a car, a 2001 Chevy Impala LS. $5500 Can. Excellent condition with 150k.
As you can probably assume I am feeling positively chuffed about this. In the pink. Of course I had to take a cash advance to jump on the deal, but I can handle being in debt for a while. I just hope the money that is owed to me from various sources comes within a month so I don't get swallowed in interest.
I am glad I don't have to commute very far to work, so fuel economy isn't too much of a concern. When college (Blast my procrastinating nature) approaches, I think i'll have to downgrade to a compact (Tomb) or something. But until then, let the moderately good times roll!
