People will say we're in love.

I forgot my iPod at home today, and am now feeling twitchy. I have plenty of music on my work computer to listen to, and plenty of pics and such if I get a few minutes to icon, and have been so lax on my writing that anything I started would be basically from scratch at this juncture anyways. Not to mention I have so much work to do today that I probably will not be doing any of those things (except for the music) anyways. So I have no real reason for caring. BUT IT BUGS ME NOT TO HAVE IT. *sigh*

Anyways, spent most of yesterday getting some much needed gaming and reading in. I am almost done with Spirit Bound. :( I'm loving it, don't get me wrong, but December is a metric forever from now. I have lots of other things to read that I'm excited about, so it's not a tragedy or anything, but there's just something so satisfying of being smack in the middle of a series you're just loving. I also watched When in Rome and The Crazies over the weekend, which were just sort of okay… mediocre, but made enjoyable by starring people I adore. I also picked up this book over the weekend, and hope to get started on some little wool animals in time for my friend M.'s birthday. It looks like so much fun, so I hope it turns out to be. I could see doing a lot of that for Christmas ornaments and such. I used to do a lot of crafty type things and kind of stopped at some point, but I'd really like to get back into it.

And I haven't watched yesterday's True Blood yet, so if I haven't commented, that's why. :)

On to the meme!
Day 25 - Favourite film villain
I feel like this is probably going to be a generic and obvious answer, but I can't not do it: Hannibal Lecter. Part of me balked a bit at this, because I knew him first as a literary villain, rather than a film villain, but Anthony Hopkins has become so inextricably linked with the character for me that I think it's a fair call. In general, I feel like villains tend to be more interesting than their heroic counterparts. I think what I love so much about Lecter is that he is the consummate gentleman, noble and intelligent and charming (in Hopkins hands) to the point of being, at times, fairly sexy. And then, with the flip of a switch, monstrous and brutal beyond comprehension, made all the more chilling by the radical shift from his ordinarily smooth façade.

Honorable mention: Velociraptors.
