++ New Editors. One review of the new album said it was a "raw, more stripped down sound." Not that there's anything wrong with that, but I call bullshit. The album is synth-y, wall-of-sound goodness from start to finish. Love it. LOVE. And "Papillon" is totes the best one. And the video is perfect for it. I wish we had seasons here in Florida. Last week it was in the 50's and 60's in the morning but would be back to the 90's by the afternoon.

At least Starbuck's has let me know fall is here by bringing out the Pumpkin Spice lattes.

Loving Bored to Death as well. :)

I do love those Pumpkin Spice Lattes too.. though I haven't had one yet this year. They're a little sweet for me for first thing in the morning, so I have to wait on a non-routine sbux stop to get one. ;)

Yikes though.. 90s?? Is that usual for you this time of year? I don't remember it being so warm on my autumn Disney treks...

Well it's 86 right now but still that's pretty warm. I'm hoping it cools down the further we get into the month. Otherwise, I'll have to save all my warmer clothes for Pennsylvania next month.

I haven't yet had a chance to listen to all of the new Editors, but my only concern is how repetitive the single is...I mean, I love the sound, but I used to love how they change things up within each song. I do love them.

Can't wait to see Zombieland...it's at the top of our list :)

I think the other songs on the album are a bit more.. whatever the opposite of repetitive would be in this case. :) But I actually like the repetitive, driving nature of "Papillon".. it's such a good pump-you-up kind of song.. makes me want to go tearing down some empty street just like in the video. XD

Hmmm...I'm intrigued by this Pumpkin Smash thing!

Zombieland does look like fun :)

It was highly fun! And bearing a soundtrack that seemed weirdly taken from my own iPod.. which I can never argue against. :D

The new Editors owns me. Love it!! I wish we had actual season down here in Miami. It's so hot and muggy out today. I can't take it anymore!! I've been meaning to watch fringe on dvd but that thing is on a looong wait on my netflix queue, It's ridiculous. Seriously. Sons of Anarchy pretty much owns my life right now. I just finished a marathon viewing with one of my friends to get her into the show. She's is hooked and now my dad is getting into it. Good times but I do agree that the first season was written more tightly.

Fringe is so worth the long Netflix queue!! I love it!

And mmmm... Sons of Anarchy marathon.. when it comes to men on tv, you seriously do not get much prettier than that nice Charlie Hunnam. I've got Nicholas Nickelby from Netflix right now, for to further bask. ;) (To which.. ack.. I need SoA icons!)

(PS, love the icon.. that was such a great line. XD)

Oh fall, if only you'd really get to LA soon (though the 70s are a very welcome change from the 90s, so there's that.)

I didn't really like the second episode of Dollhouse either, but I do love the concept of this week's episode.

Yeah.. I mean, I think the introduction of this new capacity to alter chemistry like that was totally interesting, but I'm not sure it was worth centering an entire episode around. That felt more like a b-plot they just stretched out. :/

Yay for 70s though! That's not too shabby. :D
