Volleyball: USA vs. Japan
Holy crap, Logan Tom. Granted, she was a little off and on in today's first match, but hot damn! When that woman is on, she is on. That jump serve of hers is a thing of beauty. Bown was without a doubt the star of the match, but there was just no looking away from Tom. Undeniable strength, but with this completely graceful fluidity. *squee* Yay! And Japan gave as good as they got. I love close matches like this one, lots of volleys, ball constantly in the air. They looked like underdogs, so petite next to the amazons making up our team, but their defense was astounding, particularly coming from Saori Kimura. They kinda won me over. ;)Very excited for USA vs. Cuba tomorrow.
Man, I missed the Olympics. :D
Very excited for men's swimming later in the day, and Mae & Walsh in beach volleyball tomorrow. LOVE IT.
