Piper's Hospital Room - Friday

Veronica was worried.

Piper was sick. And instead of getting better, she had slipped into unconsciousness about an hour ago. The doctors had no idea what was wrong and Veronica was on the verge of a full-on freakout because she couldn't fix it.

She was debating if she should call in reinforcements.

It's a good thing that Veronica was there, because one little sister was also there already freaking out.

"Isn't there anything in your book?" Veronica asked. "A spell or something to make her better? Or what about Chris and Wyatt? Can't they heal?"

Phoebe shook her head. "There's nothing in there about healing my sick sister and she forbid me to call the boys."

Veronica frowned. "But... well... if she doesn't find out..."

Phoebe was biting her lip. "She made me promise, Veronica and... she said the doctors had to do it and..."

Phoebe was very definitely on the verge of full on hysterics.

Veronica hugged Phoebe. "Okay, well, we'll give the doctors a little more time then. But... we're calling the boys if things get any worse. I don't care what Piper said."

Phoebe hugged her back. "I can't lose my sister," Phoebe whispered. "Not Piper."

"We're not losing anyone," Veronica said firmly. "I promise. Whatever it takes, we'll do it."

Phoebe nodded, but there were tears sliding down her face. "Has anyone called Lindsey?"

Veronica nodded. "He's supposed to be on his way. I don't want to call him while he's on the road and tell him she's unconscious though. The last thing we need is him ending up in the hospital too."
