Veronica & Piper's Apartment & Beyond - Friday

Feb 09, 2007 19:32

After the WTFery of the morning with Piper and Phoebe, Veronica had taken a shower, packed a bag and was surfing the net while she waited for Cameron to show up. She was excited to find out where they were going for the weekend, even though she was hesitant to leave Piper alone.

The portal appeared in the middle of the room and a couple of seconds later, Cameron stepped through. He looked disorientated from the portal, but soon found his bearings again and grinned broadly as he spotted Veronica, dropping his bag to the ground. "Yo!"

Veronica grinned and jumped up to hug him. "You're here!"

"Uh huh. In the flesh," he met her halfway, wrapping his arms around her. He held on to her as if he wanted to make up for all the hugs he hadn't been able to give these last few weeks.

"Where are we going?" she asked, not giving him a chance to answer as she immediately kissed him.

About four hours later, Cameron was driving the car down the Las Vegas strip. He was mostly trying to concentrate on the road as it was pretty busy and he didn't want to miss their hotel. It was amusing to watch Veronica's reactions however and he kept glancing at her whenever he could manage it.

Veronica was grinning like an idiot. "I cannot believe we're spending the weekend in Vegas," she said. "How the hell did you manage to pull this off?"

He waggled his eyebrows at her. "That fake ID you gave me helped. I sold my soul for the rest."

"Which of the hotels are we staying at?" she asked, bouncing a little in her seat.
