Veronica woke up in Town Hall with everyone else. In the chaos, she slipped away without talking to anyone and made a beeline for her apartment.

After a long shower, she made some tea, added a healthy shot of whiskey and sent a quick email to anyone who might have been worried about her.

Tim got off the phone himself, and finally came out into the living room. He had a need to watch some just completely ridiculous comedy. On TV he found a show called Scientific Explanation. Problem solved.

"She... yeah, I heard what she did," Veronica said, shaking her head. "I want to forget that place ever existed."

"Yeah that'd be nice." he agreed. "I'm starting with comedy. And I've got a large shipment of Elven wine coming that might help too."

"I don't know if it'll actually make you forget. But it's very potent, and it's only a happy drunk. Like it's impossible to be any other kind o drunk with this stuff."

Veronica watched for a few seconds and then shook her head. "Don't think so."

Truth be told, she wasn't really focusing on it now either.
