Stopping and Staring

I won't go over the obvious "jee I don't post enough!" jumble, because I'm even slacking on my Cardrunners blog as well.

Anywho, I'm moving out next Wednesday to Aspen Chase for the summer in Hadley, getting a fairly sweet deal rent-wise. I know it's sort of lame going back to the old stomping grounds, but I like the location, the fact I can walk or take the bus pretty much wherever I want, and Boyden is fairly cheap in the summer as well, and no worrying about my lock getting picked/shit getting stolen like the Springfield YMCA. If I really like it, I might just find someway to stay in the complex until December when I should REALLY have the money to move somewhere out-of-state. Either way, will be nice to have my own space, a bedroom, and be able to play poker relatively distraction-free at night.

As for trips, the only definite one as of now is June 8-16 to Las Vegas for two preliminary WSOP events, the $1500 PLO and $2000 NLHE. I'm a bit excited, but it's going to be a pain getting out/carrying cash around until I get a safe deposit box at the Rio or elsewhere. Staying at the Excalibur, which is fairly convenient location relative to the path to the Rio. Will suck I won't know many people out there (one poker player, a guy I played heads-up with in the PLO HU Championships for 2+2), but should have plenty of time to meet others.

That's it for now, maybe more later this month.
