FYI - The Character Survey of DOOM
Though it's currently incomplete.
Body and Appearance
1. Describe the character's height and build. Is he heavyset, thin, short, rangy? Ben has a medium build and is short - five feet, seven inches.
On the Olympic athlete body diversity thing, he's closest to... oh... one of the three on the right, though he's got slightly bigger arms.
2. How old is he? Over one hundred fifty years old. He died while in his eighties. For ES, he has been embodied and has an apparent age that is very difficult to pin down, rather like in much of canon - immersion in the Force stretches lifespans and slows aging, if done the right way. He seems to be in his twenties or thirties from a little distance, but the more or closer you look, the more signs of age appear.
3. Describe his posture. Does he carry himself well or does he slouch? It's pretty good posture, though not quite military.
4. How is his health? Is he fit or out of shape? Any illnesses or conditions? Any physical disabilities? Good shape. When things are going very badly he favors his left leg somewhat, but you can't usually tell.
5. How does he move? Is he clumsy, graceful, tense, fluid? Fairly graceful - efficient, really. There's a sort of caution to his movements, even when they're quick.
6. How attractive is this character physically? How does he perceive himself in the mirror? In universe, he's... fairly good-looking, though people go for him more because of other things. He thinks he looks okay; kind of distinctive, but not striking.
7. Describe his complexion. Dark, light, clear, scarred? While he's been cut up/burned/otherwise injured on pretty much his entire body, a combination of bacta and Jedi healing have mended almost everything... but he hasn't gone for cosmetic bacta treatments, so he's got very marked skin. Almost none of them are the kind of scar that makes for lines; it's all little divots or bumps or slightly shiny bits, tiny irregularities, only really visible at close range.
So his complexion is pretty bad.
8. Describe his hair: color, texture, style. It's a brown/blond shade, sprinkled with gray. When he's had a lot of sun, it bleaches more blond. He keeps it fairly short, in what you could call a slight mullet, or not. The hair in the front is just long enough to conceal the minor receding of his hairline.
The texture is thick and a little coarse.
9. What color are his eyes? Blue!
10. Does the character have any other noteworthy features? Prosthetic right hand. Covered in synthflesh, it looks and feels completely normal. But it isn't scarred at all, it does not sweat, and it's room temperature.
11. What are his chief tension centers? The skin around his eyes tightens somewhat. His hands, too - while his prosthetic right hand tends to stay relaxed, his left shows more strait.
12. What is the character's wardrobe like? Casual, dressy, utilitarian? Bright colors, pastels, neutrals? Is it varied, or does he have six of the same suit? He has a terrible fashion sense. This is canon. He sticks with three general things. Bodysuits, close-fitting shirts, and pants are almost always in black or else just dark colors. Over that he tends to wear more black
13. Do his clothes fit well? Does he seem comfortable in them?
14. Does he dress the same on the job as he does in his free time? If not, what are the differences?

6. Is he a good impromptu speaker, or does he have to think about his words?
7. Is he eloquent or inarticulate? Under what circumstances might this change?

1. How intelligent is this character? Is he book-smart or street-smart?
2. Does he think on his feet, or does he need time to deliberate?
3. Describe the character's thought process. Is he more logical, or more intuitive? Idealistic or practical?
4. What kind of education has the character had?
5. What are his areas of expertise? What, if anything, is he interested in learning more about?
6. Is he an introvert or an extrovert?
7. Describe the character's temperament. Is he even-tempered or does he have mood swings? Cheerful or melancholy? Laid-back or driven?
8. How does he respond to new people or situations? Is he suspicious, relaxed, timid, enthusiastic?
