Prompt: AU Ever since he was a child and his mother died, all the devastating events of Dean's life were accompanied by the appearance of a menacing black crow. Until the day Dean manages to wing it with his rifle while it's flying off after the latest disaster that he somehow has just barely escaped. But as the crow falls, it takes on the appearance of a dark-haired man, now bleeding at Dean's feet. Turns out the crow wasn't a sign of doom but was instead protecting Dean from dying. I eat up H/C with a spoon, but hopeful ending, please!
