The past couple of weekends have been the best by far.
Going down to U of I was the best thing I could have done...three times over.
I am now dating like the best person I could possibly think of.
Marc is one of the nicest guys I have ever met. He has a sense of humor that I find irresistable, a smile that goes on for miles, and a heart that seems to be made of absolute gold.
Here's the story...I had met Marc over the summer in my Psych class, a class that we both equally couldn't stand, and went out a couple times. I got to meet some of his awesome friends, go out to dinner with him, and find a new friend that I hoped would be in my life for a long while. We had sneakily discussed dating through Ya, but it never panned out. We were super-busy over the summer and go to different schools. It didn't sound promising. Well, Rach and I decided to go down to U of I to visit Ya. And of course we ended up at AEPi because apparently that is where all good AEPhi girls go. We met up with Goot and Silverman and ended up spending most of the time with them. We had an absolute blast with them. It was honestly so weird how much we had in common with them. Silverman and Rach hit it off unbelievably well and Goot and I were left to rekindle what we sorta started over the summer. Well, let's just say that it rekindled. It was so cool to visit him and see him in his own environment...to meet his friends....to spend the kind of time with him there that I couldn't back home. We went back the next weekend. Then we went back again. I missed him too much to stay away. There's something wonderful about him that I haven't found in anyone...and I don't want to let it go. Granted, I got a speeding ticket because of it, but it was worth it to find someone as good as him.
Well, wow, what a story. So now we are together...and I'm just peachy as can be! I don't know what to say other than this is something I want to work more than anything in a long time. Goot, you rock my world like no other!!! Yay, us!!
So as far as everything, it's been a blur because of all of the above. I'll have to catch up with all that stuff later.
Going home this weekend is going to be sooo fun too...I miss my Mom!
