Ok,
undinesprite and I are spoiled.
Not only do we have
Mozart's Cafe--with their incredible German-influenced cakes and pastries, but admittedly crap website--within easy driving distance, and a
Trader Joe's too, but now, on top of this, we now have Weiland's Market.
An inauspicious name for such a place.
Yes, the prices are high. Yes, you'd never suspect it was anything special from the outside.
But inside they have
Ghyslain pastries. . . I might be tempted to call these fussy if they weren't every bit as tasty as they look.
How did I not know about this place until now??
The next frontier to be conquered is
The North Market and
ZenCha Tea Salon *. * Which brings up the coincidence of when
undinesprite and I were at the Ghyslain factory, looking around at all the incredible pastries and products they had for sale in their storefront and suddenly noticed, tucked away on the side, a small selection of whole teas from none other than
ZenCha.
