so i guess there's a challenge to read 50 NEW books in one year.
i'm gonna go for it. on average it means i need to read at least 5.5 books a month. i've read three so far, so i've got some catching up to do. i won't count graphic novels unless the exceed a certain number of pages. i think the most books i've ever read in one year was probably when

The Hobbit is a really good book. And much easier/less airy with fewer epic odes to the way the wind cut through the grass and encouraged the crickets bordering the edge of Mordor to chirp with a certain vivacity reminiscent of the soft, luminescent barmaid back in the Shire.
