Well speaking as the guy who is in EXACTLY the same position do what is the best for your university career. Socialize with the PROFESSORS, the folks who actually matter and you can relate to. They'll be older, and happy to speak with someone who doesn't say 'Like' and 'y'know?' every five words.
I also participate occasionally in the English Student Society's events. Last night we did a trivial pursuit night. I got my ass HANDED to me by one of the professors. But I like him so it's ok. He'll be doing the Joyce class I want to take next semester.
Of course, the solution to this is convince that lovely wife of yours that doctors are desperately needed in Saskatchewan, and it is an ideal place to raise small things. Like children! And then you can come hang with me and we'll mock the youngsters for their stupidity, and comment on how we drank WAY more when we were their age. :)

A lack of regular updates (And as an English student you should be posting and practicing your writing!) will result in the hiring of Winterpeg goons to boot you in the junk! Or maybe I'll just tell Ceno you said she was stupid and never wrote anything meaningful, and then she'll beat you! :)
