Things I've been doing lately:
- Reading The Word for World is Forest by Ursula Le Guin and All Tomorrow's Parties by William Gibson.
- Fighting an ugly battle against 4 years of ice in my fridge. Handy tip: if you wish to maintain sanity and dry floors, defrost more regularly than every 4 years.
- Listening repeatedly to the hyphy tracks on DJ Shadow's The Outsider. Fuck all y'all hatas; I love "3 Freaks" and "Turf Dancing" to bits.
- Listening raptly to the TTC lectures on cultural anthropology, to the point where at times my chest feels like bursting with excitement at some of the ideas and things I'm learning. Culture is rad.
- Watching Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex with Adam. Cyberpunk is rad.
