SPRING BREAK WOOHOO!!!!!
OK so this weekend was AMAZING!!!! Friday we (Zo and I) were supposed to go to Opa at night but due to a) us not really feeling it, and b) people selling out, we ended up not going...and I'm sooo happy we didn't. Don't get me wrong, but instead of Opa, here is what happened:
We went to Lincoln Rd., parked in the top floor of the garage where we kissed and it was gorgeous since the top floor kinda overlooks everything so we had all the lights and stuff. Nice view...I'm going to live on the beach one day. Maybe in the Loews...hmmm...lol...
So then, we just walked around, the night was beautiful, no rain, no issues, just nice cool weather. We stopped by a couple of stores and my favorite modern artist's gallery, Romero Britto... (btw, that Mickey Mouse he did...oh yeah...totally mine when I'm a lawyer...yup). ANYWAY, so after that, my love took me to a cozy little Italian restaurant on Lincoln Rd. which was nothing short of amazing...great food, great company, just perfect. Unfortunately Zo didn't have those $3000 he said that if he had he would use to fly us to Italy to have authentic Italian food...but oh well lol...I'm sure he and I will take a trip to Italy someday. I think he will probably be on the plane the first time I go on a plane, cuz yeah, I've never been on one...I know....w/e. So yeah...Friday rocked.
Saturday I went to teach my munchkins, and YaY cuz I don't have to go for 2 weeks teehee...then I went to Zo's house where he and his 8 yr old cousin Kevin were waiting for me, because Zo and I took him to McDonald's and then to MetroZoo (so yeah, parents for a day...I personally cannot handle an 8 yr old right now lol...I was exhausted). It was so much fun, and Kevin had a blast so I was really happy. And he is soooo well-behaved, persistant at times, like the "ARE WE THERE YET? WHERE IS THE GIFT SHOP?" 20 times in a row, but all in all, he's great. He was all like OMG LOOK THIS AND THE MONKEY (oh no wait, that was Zo)...lol. Everyone had fun so yay MetroZoo. Then he and I were sooooooooooooooo tired that we decided to stay in and watch movies and tv cuz yeah, no one wanted to move from the couch...it was NOT happening for us lol.
Sunday we ALL went to Church...and I do mean ALL. My mom, my dad, my abuela, Zo's mom, Zo's dad, Zo, and me. Zo and I had a near heart-attack at something said lol, but we'll leave it at that right honey??? lol.
Then we ALL went to Fuddruckers and had some amazing burgers that were OMG yummy. After that, Zo and I were supposed to go to the park, but decided we're too lazy to move so we watched a movie at his house. Then like at 9 we went to see Be Cool, the new John Travolta movie...F.Y.I. Zo=Vince Vaughn...twinkle twinkle baby...lmao.
So yes this weekend was nothing less than awesome. I had so much fun...a hell of a start for my Spring Break. Let's hope the trend of good things continues. Now I'm at work, yes, work...bleh...but I get out at 1 and don't have to worry about class WOOHOO!!!!! I need a real vacation...like not this break crap...I want to get away, fly somewhere...Europe. I want to see Europe. Italy, Greece, Spain, Germany, France (i guess), oh yes and AMSTERDAM lolol. I plan on going to the beach on Saturday morning and toasting myself there for a few hours, or like the whole day lol. Let me know if you are interested in joining.
