My life is lurking in the basement on a zombie work all night sleep all day schedule, but I'm getting lots of pages done. I wrote about 50 pages worth of story on black circle and I've got the first issue (30 pages) pencilled and inked. I'm 6 pages into the second issue, so good times. I'm psyched for the damn thing! Man your stuff is so amazing, what is all this for, has it been picked up or are you self publishing? Either way I want to get me one. You figures are so relaxed and natural looking. Great work! Please post more!

Thankies! I'm glad you like it! Black Circle is going to Image in some shape or form. There's book being put together thats kind of like a shonen jump monthly for american comics, so it should fit in there.

thankies! Sorry about the 4 months of nothing. I'm terrible about updating. I've got a stack of pages I need to scan and that cover I posted I finished like a month ago.

I think I just really hate working on the computer. When I draw I have my specific comfy place in the corner of the room and my drawing board, but when I have to scan its like I have to uproot and move into odd foreign area with a bright screen and an uncomfortable tablet pen.

Makes no sense!

As long as your drawing corner is home, and the comp is weird and foreign you're doing something right. If it ever gets the other way around, that's when something is wrong.

Its all good! I'm sure sheldekins told you about the whole apartment arrangement and stuff. I'm excited! We'll all be in the same town again.

Man I've gotta color all of these bad boys, but I dont know how I'm going to approach it. I want it to be good but I don't want it to be stupid complicated.

HO. MAN. these are lookin fiiine oh wow. who you publishing this through? when can i get it? the people in these are TOTALLY ill too, i super like the variation in the people's faces i can see, they're faaaabulous AND the girls are adorable as ussssual, oh goodness

Dude thanks! I've been working at the face variation pretty hard, especially with the dudes. I had a bad habit of drawing dudes who look like James, since he's my basement dwelling partner.

I'm planning on taking this thing to image, so it'll be out in some form most likely next year. I want to get really far ahead with it because I'm not the speediest of artists. Something around a hundred pages before the first book comes out.
