I will soon be in the process of making myself a cotehardie and sideless surcote. Two questions. I have no idea what to use for buttons on the sleeves and no idea what, if anything should be used for trim at the arm holes and neck line. The cotehardie is to be blue, at least the first one and the surcote will be made of this:
