Hear Ye, hear ye....

It's snowing and tomorrow it's supposed to get warm again! I wish the weather would make up it's mind. I'm still tired, but too bad for me, I'm meeting my mum's new boyfriend tonight. Apparently they've been "dating" for awhile. Now you see this is where the problem comes in: I asked her about a few weeks ago if she was dating someone, she started dressing up and wearing makeup so I knew something was going on and she said "No". Now he's coming over tonight and she want me to meet him, I asked her again this morning if she's dating him and again she said "no", but this time she added "I'm too old for dating now" so I said "Oh, so are you just sleeping with him or something?". Before you get your panties or tighty whities in a wad, let me state that this is the way my mom and I talk, we're very straightforward people(besides she's not even 40 yet!). Back to the story, her jaw dropped and she replied "Of course not and if I was it's not any of your business anyway". She had that weird smile she gets on her face sometime when I can't tell if she's lying or what. Then I sad "Well, if you're not dating him and he's not just your sex toy, then what do you call it?" She says "I'm spending time with a recent friend who takes me out occasionally and who I think my son should know about." Why can't she just admit she's dating!!! Now, I have to do my best to make sure I look like a cross between Marilyn Manson and Trent Reznor to see if he's worthy to be in her company. Besides he can't be as bad as her first boyfriend ;).

While my mom's on her "date" I'll probably hang with colinsgirl and help her with her song for studio recording. I'm going to try and hook up with my friends Jason and Cassandra too and maybe hangout on Lansdowne Street. Maybe I'll have an interesting story for tomorrow from a bar brawl or something who knows!?! Until next time...
