Remy and Rattus cook up a treat in the kitchen. My new German friend hawthorn sent me this video of a Nissan ad from Germany featuring Remy and Emile. Unfortunately, it looks like you have to download it to be able to hear the audio, which is of course in German. It also has something for fatfurs as well. ;)

I found a surprise in my letter box today. A postcard from Remy. Hmmm. Although the handwriting does look familiar and I know a certain friend was recently in Paris, perhaps I should take it in the same spirit as the text chat and choose to believe...

I got some really amazing presents for my birthday (not least of which was a trip to a real French restaurant!) but I have to admit that the most amazing was an actual banner promoting Ratatouille, courtesy of brisdrake. Naturally, Rattus just had to pose with it. Thank you so much Drake!

*in paroxysms of joy* No longer do I have to content myself with a "leaked" low res version of the trailer for Ratatouille. Disney have released it officially and you can even download it in glorious High Definition with 5.1 surround sound! (If only I had a surround sound system.) Oh, God, I can see every last strand of fur.

In all the excitement about Ratatouille, I've been ignoring the other rat movie: Flushed Away. It turns out the trailer for that one has already been officially released. My first impression was that it's a shame they're using computer animation to mimic stop motion (the characters aren't even furry), but like all Aardman films I think it will be ( Read more... )
