So-- first the business. Taz is walking better. Much better. Still have some problems with the pee pee... we go back in on Monday for reassessment. (and to remove the staples) But I owe a debt of gratitude to my chick from Illinois who told me how to manage this. You, literally, may have saved Taz's life-- because, honestly, I couldn't take it anymore. I know I sound ugly to say it. But I don't like cleaning piss up. And my beautiful bamboo floors don't like being soaked in piss either. But Taz is off all pain meds, because I don't think he needs them anymore. He walks around the block twice per day. I am still locking him up in "his room" when I go to work. (we used to call it the den, we were such idiots!). It's so sad to see what they did to him, guys. I can't even get angry. I don't have the juice for it.
HOWEVER....
I think the stress of these last 3 weeks , plus the steady diet of triple shot soy lattes, bubbled up on me today when I tore a new one into my clinical instructor. I think at some point I called her unreasonable and punitive, and told her that I refused to do the homework assignment. Sunday should be fun. When she said I was being irritable I then turned on my classmates and said that I was exhausted from having to deal with their babbling and bumbling all day. Like I said: Sunday.... fun....
It is really gorgeous weather here now that summer has started. Monday we are going to play hooky. I need a day of eating, sleeping, screwing, and shopping. In that order. lol.
