This day has seemed sooooo long! I woke up at 9:00 am only to find that it was actually 8:00 am thanks to daylight savings time.
Today I have:
- taken Rosie for a nice, long, walk.
- bought new pillows! They are so fluffy that they won't fit under my chin when I'm putting the pillowcases on.
- spent lots of time perusing the brotherhood2.com forum, My Pants, to catch up on the worldwide (only nationwide so far) scavenger hunt that started on Friday. Everyone is stuck on the most recent clue, found in Oak Brook, IL. I'm just hoping one ends up here...that would be cool.
- bought Rosie some new chewy bones and she's been chewing on one for the past two hours.
- gone to the gym and did a workout class. I hesitate to say it, because the very words bring up visions of hot pink leotards, big hair, and high-top reeboks, but it was a step aerobics class. I've been going a few weeks now and am getting the hang of it! It's pretty fun actually. And no one wears hot pink. Yet.
- finished the chicken pot pie I made earlier this week. It was pretty good, though a little bland. I will make my mom's wonderful homemade soup tomorrow, which should last me the week at least. I'm also excited to make some chocolate-banana oatmeal for breakfast one morning, but I'm waiting for the bananas to ripen a bit more. I like absolutely no green on my bananas, and a few spots. Otherwise, they aren't sweet enough!
Ok enough with the list. I saw Waitress on Friday and I enjoyed watching it! It was cute and funny, though I thought the ending was a little pat. It's always a pleasure to see Nathan Fillon on screen. :-)
